“Many children in Uganda are orphans because of the high rate of bad activities such as drug abuse and prostitution. Many children end up on the streets due to lack of parents and others are forced into early marriages and child labour. At the moment I look after 32 children. Almost eight years now since I started caring for orphans. It all started with love and compassion and now we have grown. I come from a small village called Naluwerere and we do speak two local languages and English. The children are engaged in many activities like singing, acting, and dancing.”
