COLLECTIVE EFFERVESCENCE
When I think of our humble family, I think first of our leader, Coach Matt Salis.
A complex fellow who displays several admirable traits that benefit us all. Among them, are loyalty, dependability, empathy, humility, and integrity.
Is it any wonder that each of us anxiously anticipates our weekly gathering with great expectations? Our collective effervescence fosters trust, vulnerability, and the genuine love of friendship, Phillia.
We have all experienced the relief of being able to vulnerably share various aspects of our growth and awareness, our foibles and failures, our precious memories and expectations foiled, all in a loving glow of joy and acceptance.
We have all grown to help each other in various ways, some obvious, some unspoken.
It all started with one humble guy willing to lead, and a thoughtful catalyst, Theresa, who brought everyone together. It started with two, grew and grew, and then evolved to a consistent core family, who collectively encourage each other weekly, that everything’s going to be OK! So let’s collectively enjoy an effervescent effusive laugh and count our many blessings.
