“Now we’re going backwards! The hills are so steep here, we had to turn north for part of the day to get around the sheer cliff faces.  We’re camping on an outcropping on the stone face of a steep hill about halfway up the cliff.  The path barely fits us.  Strider found a small cave, but even sheltered we dare not make a fire for fear of it being seen in the night.”
