Proof of Concept

They’re not coming, get used to it.

I always marvel at people who say things along the lines of,

“Look at them, they have it so great.”

In our society, the only thing we seem to notice is the finished project.

No one thinks about the effort, the lonely self-doubt. The back talking condescension,

The required resilience. No one remembers strikeouts, only home runs.

It’s tempting to fall back on, “see I told you so”, when you do make it, but don’t go there.

The most important concept to be proven is that someone has to lead. Now one is going to

join you until and unless the concept is already proven.

They’re not coming, get used to it.
