Peeled to an Even Keel

When I think about my present demeanor, even I’m impressed. And that, my friends, is not insignificant. 

When I accepted the fact that to have any semblance of a life, I would have to remain Sober, 4 and a half years ago now, it is significant to note that I truly did surrender.

What was I going to do now? My entire life experience has been absorbed and revolved around mind altering substances, and the events, gatherings and commerce they produced.

Significant change was coming. The fact that it has been significantly successful is not insignificant to others. It has been noticed and noted by many.

“I still have your picture (of my Graduation from Providence House) on my desk”.

“You, Olander, are a f***ing Miracle.” “Man, you look Great. I can’t believe it’s the same person.”

What is my most significant takeaway? I have the opportunity, the ability, the life experience, the successful, demonstrable outcome, to lead by example and be both seen and heard….

Without any significant attachment to any particular outcome.

SIGNIFICANTLY, with surrender, commitment, and daily service, 

I’ve been “Peeled to an Even Keel”.
