I have the privilege to articulate some serendipitous happenings in my wellness each and every Thursday. The prompt for this one was “community.”

The Community of “S.A.M.E.”, where nothing’s ever the Same.

When does one plus one not equal two?

Depends upon your mindset and what you choose to do!

Do you wallow in your sorrow? Or get up to build a better tomorrow?

It begins with a sense of belonging, but it’s so much more than that.

A chance to contribute, to build your own dream,

to listen, to learn, to find your own unique next right turn.

Percentages?

What percentage of the people who are helped by the mission of Same Cafe will go on to create their own stories, their own tribe of people whom they have touched, inspired to go out and make a difference for others, in the tapestry and mosaic that is in inner City Denver?

I don’t know the numbers empirically. But I do know this. It is growing exponentially each and every day. Same Cafe is a place where love becomes a verb.

Inclusivity, tolerance, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. After experiencing Same Cafe for yourself, you will never be the Same.
