    • He is effing hilarious! The first time I read this I had to check the authenticity I mean, but seriously — why didn’t I think funny guys could be wise guys? He’s awesome. Thank you for your visit and comment Fiery! What’s your favorite George Carlin quote? Here’s one of mine:

“The main reason Santa is so jolly is because he knows where all the bad girls live.”

Might have to use that for under1000skies this coming Christmastime. ^^ ♥.

      • Lol…amazing isn’t it. In a world of alleged free speech things like that were happening all over the place.
I couldn’t remember the exact context when I mentioned it to you, but yep that’s what I was talking about.
He was hated by the establishment because he spoke such truth in his comedy.

      • Looked it up. I couldn’t find yours and your friend’s discussion so I’ll just say my piece here lol!
That that kind of thing is going on does not surprise me at all. Indicative of the world we live in. Pedal free speech on public platforms and then surreptitiously silence someone. Be free but not THAT free, right?!
Thanks for pointing it out to me.

Have a gorgeous day honey xxx

      • *hugs* I agree! I’m sorry you can’t see our comments. I think there are over 30 by now! =) But here’s the last thing I wrote that goes to our discussion too, I think:

I wrote to Senator Carper and Senator Coons in my state and Congresswoman Blunt Rochester. I hope they can help. In the end, we all want to be able to speak our truth without censorship. So long as we speak our truth without hate and with a view towards resolution and justice, we all deserve the right to freedom of speech.

I love the way freedom of speech is addressed in the US Constitution, under the 1st Amendment:

“Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

I believe that using the word “peaceful” was meant, not just for assembly, but for every part of the law. If we form and exercise our religions with peace, if we speak with peace, write our news stories with peace, assemble with peace and address our grievances to our governments with peace, we will never go wrong in any circumstance.
