“Nobody has to do anything wrong to end up living a life that feels like it’s not their own, all they have to do is take a step back, and hope for the best.”

We’ve been helping a young man named Oscar in Portland who lost his job two years ago. Then, when the pandemic hit, he lost his apartment. He has been living on the street ever since. Special thanks to LeoLady (KindSpring.org) for submitting today’s quote. The theme for the month of May is “fear” and “love.” The theme for June will be “silence,” “listening,” “stillness,” and “sacred space.” If you have a favorite quote about any or all of those,, please let us know!
As always, we would love to feature your creative visions. When we show each other what we find beautiful, we get a glimpse into each others’ hearts. ♥.
May you find joy every day of your journey through life,

Under1000skies resumed daily posts today and will continue hopefully until I’m long gone. This is my golden bowl, and this work is vital.
The pain, every day upon waking; the knowledge that, after 402 days, my son Benjamin Archer is still missing; — these will not be undone by hiding, numbing, or distracting. After all, “Life is about using the whole box of crayons.” Even the storm colors.
