One of the people I follow on Patreon, Green Revolution, recently published this story about Marne and his dog Tripod. When speaking about his relationship and love for Tripod and about how much this has changed and enriched his life, Marne said what is quoted above (Minute 3:19). I found what he said to be beautiful and true of all love. Love changes us profoundly, whether given, received or mutual. Words don’t convey the wonder of love, no matter how hard we may try. But, we’ll always keep trying, so we’ll always have songs and poetry and great stories, like this one.

Thank you, Suzanne. *hugs* I’m really happy you enjoyed it. They do choose you. My only dog was a rescue, Sputnik. As soon as I’m strong enough and once PT says okay, I’ve lined up a few days a week to be a dog-walker at our nearby no-kill shelter. The others in this household don’t wish to have a dog. So I get to go out and enjoy lots of them. =) I loved this story about Tripod and Marne. They do marathons together too from what I’ve read! ♥.
