Today I make a wish for you
As sunlight paints my sleepy view
Of morning filtered softly through
The fabric of my dream.

In quiet somnolence, I pray
That you find happiness today,
That laughter carries you away
Like petals on a rushing stream.

I hope someone surprises you,
That you discover something new
And maybe learn a thing or two.
I hope you dance, and sing!

I hope your day is filled with love
With lots of kisses, smiles, and hugs,
