Gems 9.30

I hope you’re having a beautiful day. ♡
Here, in celebration is the fifth of seven ELS ¤ Gems ¤

Painting “That Which Is Sacred” by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, Shadowscapes.com.

That which is sacred in this Land

Is not to be found through a temple door,

Is not to be purchased or bargained for

  with silvers or a gemstone.

That which is sacred in this Land

Is found in the touch of moonlight,

Is heard in the song of the wind at night

in the forest when I walk alone.

That which is sacred comes to me,

Starlight shivers on my skin,

Everything peaceful, calm within —

  my Goddess is beside me.

That which is sacred comes to me

When I am humble as a baby,

When I let go the past, my Lady

  gently whispers what can be.

Welcome vision, to this bower.

Goddess arms of silvered whiteness

Stretch into starlit night

  drawing down the moon.
