I asked Sekitoleko Saddamuu, the founder of Free Child Foundation, Uganda, several questions about his work and the children under his care. This is what he told me (paraphrased):

I care for 31 children; 8 are under 12-years old. I am 27-years old. I have been caring these children for seven years. We live in a small rented house in Kampala, Uganda. We need any good samaritan to help us with food, medical supplies, clothes, education, and other basic needs. For emergencies and sickness, we go to the government hospitals. I was inspired to help these children because when I was young, I grew up in a bad situation without parents. I don’t want to see any children suffering from life.
