I hope we have a relaxing weekend. I will see you on March 6th.

February 21st will be my son Benjamin’s 39th birthday. On March 2nd, it will be seven years since he disappeared. With the exception of the 28th (John Olander’s Gratitude Day), this week, starting now and going forward, will be silent.

During the past seven years, I have learned to be strong; otherwise, fear for my son would have killed me. I have hope, always, but sometimes that only makes the grief sharper somehow.
