“I see the world being slowly transformed into a wilderness; I hear the approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions. And yet, when I look up at the sky, I somehow feel that everything will change for the better, that this cruelty too shall end, that peace and tranquility will return once more.” Anne Frank

I made this video nine years ago, and it is still the first thing I look at almost every day. If I have one prayer, it is this beautiful and timeless Prayer of Saint Francis. Also “Thank you.” And an occasional, “HELP!”
“Here are the two best prayers I know: ‘Help me, help me, help me’ and ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you.” -Anne Lamott

“I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality…I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.” -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Special thanks to Mish for today’s quote. The theme for June will be “silence,” “listening,” “stillness,” and “sacred space.” If you have a favorite quote about any or all of those, please let us know!
As always, we would love to feature your creative visions. If you would like to contribute photos, art work, short poems/stories, quotes, time, etc., please see our “About Us” page for details. When we show each other what we find beautiful, we get a glimpse into each others’ hearts. ♥.
May you find joy every day of your journey through life,
